Torrential down-time

What to do when the whole street experiences a loss of power?
The Macs are down so let’s find another way to go get creative.
Time for a trip to the Rain Room in the Barbican.

Created by Random International this installation piece allows you to step into a room of torrential down pour without getting wet. The choreographed droplets that fall from the ceiling dance around whilst you get to experience what it’s like to control the weather.

The Rain Room was pretty magical and we all left feeling uplifted and inspired. It’s definitely something to be recommended, even with the two-hour queue but get a wiggle on as it ends in March.
