The summer of 99

It was all going so well; balmy days, short-sleeved t-shirts and flaky chocolate atop a swirly pyramid. Just where did summer go? Thankfully creativity isn’t entirely dependent on good weather, though it does help to have a little sunshine to get the best ideas to the fore. Whether enlivening an email, tweaking some typography or distilling the perfect proposition, it’s certainly a big plus to be receiving a healthy shot of solar energy, not to mention a daily dose of vitamin D. In these more temperate times it looks like a round of flat whites will have to fill the void – until the sound of summer returns.
