Welsh Poets’ Corner

All hail Dylan Thomas one of Wales’ finest. In the company of a flock of Cymru sheep and under, if not Milk Wood, at least a forest of green, the poet’s centenary was celebrated. The lyrical strains of fellow Welshmen reading from his poetry and prose competed with the rustle of leaves overhead and the occasional angle grinder reverberating around Fitzroy Square – but you get the idea. What a fabulous way to remember a revered writer.

If you want to catch the best Welsh show outside of the Valleys and this side of Patagonia, they are doing it all again on Saturday 25th October.
